Effie Tsakiris has always loved cooking since at a very young age. Her passion for cooking began from preparing authentic Greek home-cooked meals for her friends and family in her home. Many soon started requesting for her to cater their events and parties. It was apparent people loved her cooking and Mediterranean cuisine, which led to the first Blu Kouzina opening in Bukit Timah in 2010. 11 years later, her cooking is loved by not only Singaporeans, but also travelers from abroad! With her refined taste and special attention to detail, Blu Kouzina has expanded from a single venue in Singapore to 4 restaurants and multiple delivery kitchens located in 4 different countries.

Effie is constantly innovating and learning new recipes so as to offer the best Greek meals for everyone.

Dennis Tsakiris is a Greek native who has lived in Singapore with his family for 22 years. With his great leadership and vision, Blu Kouzina is now recognised as one of the best Greek restaurants in Singapore. He has now expanded the business to importing authentic Greek products that celebrate Greek culture abroad. Dennis loves engaging with the customers and truly believes in ‘philoxenia’ which means “being a friend to a stranger.” With that value being the core of the restaurant, it is what makes Blu Kouzina stand out from the rest.
